Leadership Team

Kim Wheeler

"I have lived and worked in the Sandy area since 1983, and I’ve always had a heart for this community. As a mother of five and grandmother of two, I have a deep appreciation for our youth and the importance of community support and guidance. AntFarm has been a meaningful part of my life since its earliest days, when it was just a vision and an empty building."

Neal Hatley

"Growing up on the farm, my grandpa used to say, ‘Any job worth doing is worth doing right.’ That is a lesson I try to pass on to our youth every day. Whether we are building a trail on the mountain with a YouthCore crew or cutting grass for one of our seniors through CommunityConnect the idea of building core values through our work is always at the center."

Anne Stevens

"I joined AntFarm in 2021 and through this work, I have become part of the Clackamas County community in a way I never expected. I actually know Sandy and Estacada better than my own town of Gresham now. I love nonprofit work because it has purpose. It makes life better for people and animals. AntFarm’s culture and people are the heart of our work, and even on the hardest days, the passion and support we share keep me motivated."

Jeni Tubbs

"I have been part of the Sandy community for the past 17 years. I was drawn here for its beautiful surroundings and small-town feel, and it has been a wonderful place to live and put down roots. I wanted to work for a community-focused organization, and seeing the difference we make in people’s lives keeps me motivated every day."

Jamie Weil

"I have lived in Clackamas County my whole life. I joined AntFarm after seeing how volunteering for CommunityConnect, joining YouthCore, and trail work helped my kids grow into better adults. I wanted to give back through work that strengthens our community in a meaningful way."

Olivia Solis

"After earning my business degree, I came to East Clackamas County not knowing exactly what I wanted to do. Someone noticed how naturally I connected with youth and encouraged me to interview at AntFarm. I found my purpose in helping young people see their own potential and believe they matter."

Devin Kelly

"I first became familiar with AntFarm through collaborations with a former employer and local events, and I was immediately impressed by the heart and reach of its programs. When a position opened that aligned with my background, I knew it was an opportunity to be part of something meaningful in my “new to me” community."

Denise Roshto

"I have lived in Clackamas County for more than 20 years. I was drawn to AntFarm because of its ethical work-life balance and the culture of trust, dedication, and teamwork. It is inspiring to work alongside people who care so deeply for youth, their families, and the community."

Henry Condron

"I moved to Estacada about six years ago for its rivers, forests, mountains and strong art community. I joined AntFarm when we acquired the Harmony Cafe and Bakery, because I wanted to support youth and families and mentor young people in the culinary arts."

Jennifer Rippey

"I first moved to Sandy in 1997 with my family, took a short detour back to Gresham and returned to Sandy for good 16 years ago. I joined AntFarm during COVID as a case manager, ready to learn more about myself and grow as a person. I have discovered skills I did not know I had and have been part of many moments of youth growth and accomplishment."

Logan Hancock

"I have lived in Sandy since 2018, though I am originally from North Carolina. I have always been drawn to the forest landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. I was excited to work with youth who are interested in the world around them, and it has been rewarding to teach saw skills, tree climbing, and wildfire mitigation techniques to young people making their communities safer and more fire adapted."

Shannon Grandy

"I have lived in Sandy most of my life. I grew up in Welches, moved away for college and work, and returned because Sandy will always be my place. As a kid, I saw how much youth needed safe spaces to hang out, work, or explore interests. That was missing until AntFarm, and I am grateful to help build that for the next generation."

I've worked with Youth in and out the classroom in Multnomah and Clackamas Counties. I volunteered at Jefferson High School as a Drama Classroom Assistant from 2001-06. Served as a volunteer with The SMART Reading Program at John Ball/Ida B. Wells Elementary. With The North Clackamas School District I was hired as a Title1 reading specialist at Linwood/Sojourner Elementary, and later became a Coordinator with Todos Juntos at Rowe Middle School in Milwaukie I was also the site coordinator for The Oregon Dairy Councils, Fuel Up To Play 60 after school program at Rowe. It's this array of experiences with Youth that I feel is a good fit for Antfarm. I've been blessed for a feel to know where youth are at emotionally and how to support and mentor.
