Community Work Program

COMMUNITY WORK PROGRAM

AntFarm’s Community Work Program (CWP) creates paid “On-the-job Training” opportunities for young folks to work in the industries they are interested in.

Youth entering CWP begin with classes on resume writing, professionalism and job interview skills. After a period of service-learning in an AntFarm program, youth interview for a paid position in a business in one of the following sectors: Healthcare, Construction, Manufacturing, Technology, Clean Energy, Childcare or the Public Sector.

Next, youth then work in that business for up to 100 hours learning all the skills they need to be successful in the role and expanding their network of connections in that field.

At the end of the program, many youth go on to continue in the role that they were trained for, while others move on with real world experience and a new reference on their resumes.
