Café and Bakery Assistant Manager

The Café & Bakery Assistant Manager supports the day-to-day operations of AntFarm Café and Bakery by providing hands-on leadership and direct service in both front-of-house and back-of-house environments. This role collaborates closely with the Café & Bakery Manager, café staff, and organizational teams to ensure high-quality food and drink service, safe food handling, consistent preparation standards, and a welcoming, supportive community space. The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in training, youth internship mentorship, resource navigation, inventory, event coordination, and team development. As a bridge between operations and community engagement, this position helps create an environment where customers, interns, and staff feel seen, supported, and empowered

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Must have supervisory/management experience, and restaurant/café/food service experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency would be highly beneficial.

Reporting to: Café and Bakery Manager
Classification: Exempt
Pay: $49,920 annual starting salary ($24/hour for 40 hours/week)
Schedule: 40 hours per week including weekends.
