Baker (Hybrid Role - Baker, Food Prep, Barista)

The Baker is responsible for producing high-quality baked goods including breads, cookies, muffins, and pastries in preparation for the AntFarm Café and Bakery’s busiest market days. This hybrid role also includes kitchen support for food preparation and occasional front-of-house duties as a barista. The Baker plays a vital role in ensuring excellence in food, presentation, and customer service while embodying AntFarm’s mission and values.

Qualifications:

  • Previous baking experience in a commercial or high-volume setting.
  • Comfort working independently during early or late hours.
  • Ability to adapt between kitchen, bakery, and front-of-house roles.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English highly beneficial.

Reporting to: Café and Bakery Manager
Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: Part-time (15-20 hours/week) including Fridays 4am-10am
Pay: $17-22/hour depending on experience, plus tips (tips average $4-5/hour)
